Theresa Tozier of Lydia’s House of Hope Named Second Recipient of the Luis Pedroso BELIEVE Award
LaBelle Winery presented Theresa Tozier, founder and executive director of Lydia’s House of Hope, with the Luis Pedroso BELIEVE Award during the LaBelle in Bloom gala, celebrating the fifth anniversary of the winery’s Derry location, on June 6, 2026.
The award honors individuals who embody generosity, humility, mentorship and the belief that success is meant to be shared with others. Inspired by the life and legacy of entrepreneur and philanthropist Luis Pedroso, the award recognizes individuals whose work has created meaningful opportunity and lasting change. Theresa Tozier is the second recipient of the award and the first person to be honored since its inaugural presentation to Luis Pedroso, in 2022, during LaBelle Winery’s tenth anniversary gala. The event will also serve as a fundraiser benefiting Lydia’s House of Hope.
“Theresa represents everything this award stands for,” said Amy LaBelle, co-owner and winemaker of LaBelle Winery. “She has dedicated her life to helping women and children rebuild their futures with dignity, structure, compassion, and hope. She quietly changes lives every day without seeking recognition for herself. That spirit of giving, mentoring and believing in people is why we chose to honor her with the BELIEVE Award.”
